研究方向：
研究方向是疫苗的系统免疫学评价及免疫策略临床研究。在全球率先提出重组Ad5载体埃博拉疫苗同型载体疫苗加强免疫策略，突破同型载体疫苗加强免疫效果不佳的一般认识；率先开展中国人群的首个mRNA新冠疫苗临床研究，为全球mRNA新冠疫苗研发和应用提供了亚裔人群的第一手证据；在全球领先完成了灭活新冠疫苗基础免疫后的异源序贯加强临床研究，证实异源序贯免疫可显著提高免疫应答水平，推动了我国新冠疫苗序贯免疫策略制定。
主要科技成果：
国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金和江苏省自然科学基金杰出青年基金获得者。2019年在江苏省首届高层次和急需紧缺人才职称考核认定为正高职称，任中华预防医学会疫苗临床专业委员会常委，主要从事疫苗临床评价和免疫策略研究。获江苏省第十五批“六大人才高峰”高层次人才、省“333工程”第三层次培养对象。2016年以第三完成人获江苏省科学技术奖一等奖，2022年以第一完成人获江苏省科学技术奖二等奖。
