研究方向：

传染病疫苗、药物、诊断试剂及检测技术；细胞治疗技术。承担国家“863”重大课题、国家重大新药创制、国家传染病重大专项、国家自然基金等课题30余项。

主持研发多项诊断试剂及检测技术、疫苗、药物及细胞治疗等生物技术产品，获国家新药证书4个、医疗器械证书67项。获省部级科技进步奖一等奖3项、二等奖6项、三等奖7项。发表论文100多篇，申报发明专利33项、已授权发明专利21项。博士生导师，享受国务院特殊津贴，国家“863”疫苗项目总体组专家、国家传染病重大专项诊断试剂专家组副组长，江苏省医学领军人才、江苏省重点学科带头人、全军医药生物技术学科带头人。
