The discipline of public health and preventive medicine of Nanjing Medical University has been included in the list of double first-class construction disciplines, and Nanjing Medical University has entered the ranks of double first-class construction universities.
As one of the earliest public health education schools in China, Nanjing Medical University has continued to promote the development of discipline connotation and characteristics for more than 80 years, making breakthroughs in talent training, scientific and technological innovation, social services, cultural heritage and other aspects. Public Health and Preventive Medicine was rated A+ in the fourth round of national discipline evaluation by the Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, and ranked first in the Best Discipline of Soft Science in China in recent three years.
