Our college achieved great success in the 17th "Challenger Cup" Competition

In the final of the 17th Challenge Cup National Undergraduate Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition held from March 26 to 28, the philosophy and social sciences and research report from School of Public Health, Nanjing Medical University,“PUBLIC curbs the epidemic, HEALTH defends wellbeing - research based on promoting public health emergency system capacity in 31 cities across the country amid epidemic prevention and control”(instructors: Xia Yankai, Peng Zhixing, Wu Wei; project members: Chen Danrong, Shao Wenchuan, Zhang Qingrong, Pan Lulu, Yang Jiayu, Zhang Hengzhi, Song Wenyu, Zang Pan) won the national second prize.


 

The 17th “Challenge Cup” National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition was co-hosted by the Central Committee of Communist Youth League, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Students’ Federation, and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. A total of 1233 works were shortlisted for the final round. The Challenge Cup is known as the Olympic pageant of scientific and technological innovation of contemporary college students, and a touchstone of the scientific research level of the school as well as the comprehensive ability of its students.

The School of Public Health has always attached great importance to the Challenge Cup serial events, closely centering on the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people as well as the construction goal of double first-class, taking the Challenge Cup as an opportunity, taking the competition to promote learning, education and innovation, bringing innovation and entrepreneurship into the teaching plan, constantly enriching the content of related activities, expanding the work form and carrier, and making the Challenge Cup competition an important platform for college students to participate in scientific and technological innovation activities.
